If you like to try new things with your dog, want to improve skills for competition or just like to have fun with your dog, we offer a variety of events and workshops for novice to the experienced owners.

NASDA Practice

Time: 10 am to 1 pm at
At Canine Training Adventures. We are looking at doing this monthly.
Practice is held indoors and outside in grass fields and wooded areas.

Learn the rules and prepare your dog for the Farm Dog Cert testing on July 19th.

Canine Good Citizen Test

A fun filled day with an opportunity to earn 2 AKC titles! There will be 2 Farm Dog Cert testing (am/pm) and CGC testing as well.

Cost - $5 per run for 1st dog - $2 per run for 2nd dog.

3 search areas: vehicles, inside building and tractor barn. All in a real farm environment.
All levels accepted.

English Shepherd Gathering
July 5 & 6, 2025
Location: Canine Training Adventures/Majestic View Ranch, Sweet Home OR.
Meet this wonderful breed, their owners, breeders and admires. Join in the fun activities, meet old and new friends, share stories and take in the beautiful scenery.
Activities: Saturday we'll have fun activities like duck round up, intro to shed hunt, canine crafts, breeders on parade and more!
Sunday we'll have the Farm Dog Challenge course. This simulates basic daily chore situation within a typical farm setting. The course is designed to evaluate the dogs overall behavior and ability to handy partner on a farm. No herding is involved.
Farm Dog Workshop
July 18, 2025
Time: 9 to 12pm
Cost: $75 per dog. $65 if entered in the Farm Dog Trial
Location: Canine Training Adventures/Majestic View Ranch, Sweet Home OR.
Learn the Farm Dog Cert test rules, get your dog familiar with the obstacles, animals, sounds and obedience skills. Space is limited to 10 dogs. Entries open June 14th!
AKC Farm Dog Certified Test
Canine Good Citizen Test
July 19, 2025
Location -Canine Training Adventures/Majestic View Ranch, Sweet Home OR.
Farm Dog Cert test start time - AM trial starts at 9 - 12pm
PM trials starts at 1 to 4pm, Cost $30 per trial.
Canine Good Citizen - starts at 10am and will run simultaneously with the Farm Dog testing. Cost $25.

A fun filled day with a chance to earn 2 AKC titles! Two Farm Dog Cert testing (am/pm) and Canine Good Citizen testing.
The Farm Dog Cert Testing is held in a real farm environment with donkeys and ducks, and the CGC testing offered simultaneously on a first come first serve. Entries open June 14th & close July 14th.
