Ready to start your adventure?
Canine Training Adventures offers a wide variety of classes, from puppy socialization, to pet dog training, to the popular dog sports. Class sizes are small to allow for optimum education and private lessons are customized to meet your dog training needs.
We believe training should be fun and perceived by the dog as play, thus building trust and a strong bond between dog and owner. Our training program is based on force free, positive reinforcement, scientifically proven methods.
Our instructors have decades of experience and are educated in canine behavior and participate in continuing education and strive to make training both educational and fun!
Canine Training Adventures training center is located just 3 miles south of Sweet Home Oregon, on 25 beautiful acres with breath taking views of the Cascade Mountains. There's an 1800 sqft heated training building with foam rubber flooring for comfort and safety. Dogs enjoy the two fenced off leash areas (60 ft play yard and 3 acre pasture with a beautiful view of the mountains), and 5 acres of hiking trails that weave in an out of the forest canopy. We also have a large 100 x 100 outdoor area for events and competitions. Contact us for rental of the facility.

Learning to work with our first Springer Spaniel was a fun time. I fed her too many cookies and she knew how to take full advantage of me. Connie had the knowledge and skills to train Annika, and me too. The pups came along, and we had all three of the girls in training. From puppy classes, Canine Good Citizen classes, to agility, we all had a great time and the dogs were well mannered and dependable. Now, we are starting with a new puppy, a Mini Australian Shepard that is more of a challenge as he is faster, more agile, and incredibly energetic. We are looking forward to Basic Training and having a more responsive boy, and fewer bruised shins from his excited welcomes.

Connie is a natural when it comes to working with, training, and handling dogs! She is very knowledgeable - she understands and listens to them. Connie has a calm way about her, which enables her students (both owners and pets) to learn how to successfully work and live with each other! The dogs she trains are amazing in what they can do! She teaches consistency, gentleness, and loving care - this is why she is successful!

We Love Our Pets
We make training fun and easy, using positive reinforcement, motivation and reward based methods, focusing on the skills and training you need at home and in real-life, because life with a dog should be a fun and rewarding adventure.
